Government Contracts Associate

Position Overview Venable LLP's Government Contracts group seeks an experienced associate to join the practice in the Washington, D.C. or Tysons office. Requirements include a minimum of two years of experience working in the government contracts and/or grants space. Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: FAR and DFARS requirements Uniform Guidance Investigations involving government contracts or grants False Claims Act actions Bid protests and prime/subcontractor disputes Applicants must have a record of excellent oral and written communication skills, strong academic credentials, and law firm, government, and/or clerking experience. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant bar. Please include law school transcripts with submissions. Compensation The salary range for associate positions is $215,000 to $355,000, based on experience, education, and performance.
