Job Description

We are seeking an equity market professional for the role of Head of Product, Product Manager. The Head of Product will be the primary driver of product strategy and will execute upon that strategy as the manager of a team of product developers and quantitative analysts.

Role and Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and shape the development of the product suite, including participation in the full product life cycle: R&D, proposal, technical development, documentation, training, and marketing
• Manage a team of equity market professionals, whose core competencies are in product development and quantitative analysis
• Close collaboration with the Advisory Committee, a working group of buy-side traders tasked with helping determine major product initiatives
• Play an active client-facing role in support of sales efforts and relationship management
• Serve as primary liaison with technology vendors
• Serve as subject matter expert on market structure, dark pools, and transaction cost analysis
• Oversee all quantitative analysis
• Position will require client presentations and some travel

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications – Education, Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years exposure to electronic equity trading
• At minimum, a Bachelor's degree with concentration in finance, economics, business, quantitative disciplines, or related fields
• Demonstrated experience with electronic equity trading products and regulations: FIX messaging, Reg NMS and Reg ATS, trading algorithms and smart routing, real-time analytics, TCA
• Ability to grasp deep technical concepts related to electronic equity trading technology, including communication protocols, infrastructure (hardware, network, OS), security, web-based services, programming languages, etc.
• Comfort with navigating deep equity market structure conversations
• Superior verbal, written communication skills, and presentation skills, appropriate to all levels of internal and customer audiences
• Natural grasp of trading benchmarks and analytics: IS, VWAP, PWP, momentum, reversion, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
