Description:

The Installation Technician Assistant supports the installation team by assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. This role helps prepare job sites, transport materials, use hand and power tools, and ensure equipment is installed safely and operates properly.

• Assist technicians with installing, assembling, and testing machinery and      equipment.
• Help connect  and disconnect wiring, tubing, piping, and other components.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, parts, and materials to job sites.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Disassemble and  reassemble equipment during repairs and installations.
• Perform basic inspections and operational checks to verify proper equipment performance.
• Follow all  safety procedures and support customer satisfaction efforts.
• Assist other  departments as needed.

• Mechanical  aptitude and experience using hand and power tools preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong work  ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Good  organizational and time management skills.
• Basic  understanding of machinery, equipment, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read basic drawings and schematics is a plus.
• Willingness to travel out of state and stay overnight when required.
• Must be able to pass customer-required drug and alcohol testing when applicable.
• Ability to lift  up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to  stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in industrial environments.
• Ability to work  flexible schedules and travel to customer locations as needed.
