What You'll Do as a Kennel Assistant As a Kennel Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health, happiness, and comfort of the pets in our care. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all animals. Feeding, watering, and monitoring the well‑being of pets. Assisting with exercise and enrichment activities to keep pets happy and active. Observing animals for signs of illness or distress and reporting to the appropriate team member. Providing exceptional customer service to pet owners during drop‑off and pick‑up. What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you should bring the following skills and qualifications: Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with animals in a professional setting. Skills: A strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments. Physical Requirements: The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning, as well as spending extended periods on your feet.
