Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Warehouse - Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- 2- 3 years experience working in shipping / receiving warehouse environment
What You Will Be Doing:
- Ship all regulated and non-regulated (GLP/cGMP) materials ensuring compliance with all federal and international regulations
- Assist with the proper receipt of all inbound materials (shipments and mail)
- Receive and unload freight from delivery vehicles
- Maintain reports tracking incoming and outgoing shipments
- Re order gas cylinders, paper supplies, copier supplies and coffee supplies for all buildings
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Maintain Hazardous Shipping Certification
- Additional duties as necessary and as assigned
- At times provide guidance and oversee activities of team members
Skills Needed:
- Basic Microsoft knowledge
- Technical knowledge of federal regulations regarding the shipment of hazardous materials
- Knowledge of corporate SOP relating to the proper receipt and distribution of regulated inbound shipments
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and presentation
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
