Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift position requiring a TN or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience.

Details

• Acute care surgical and bariatric unit in a hospital setting
• 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
