Quality Manager

With over 85 years of experience , we specialize in producing high-precision, geometrically complex parts primarily for the aerospace industry, while also serving the military, electronics, transportation, medical, and other industries. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality operations and ensure compliance with rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing, a hands-on leadership style, and a commitment to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do Lead, manage, and support quality staff across Raw Inspection, X-Ray, NDT, Final Inspection, and Shipping . Ensure compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP standards across applicable quality functions. Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP processes, ensuring documentation and validation meet customer and quality requirements. Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, including customer, regulatory, and certification audits. Develop and implement quality procedures, metrics, and reporting tools to drive continuous improvement. Investigate non-conformances, lead root cause analysis, and drive effective corrective and preventive actions. Serve as a quality liaison between internal teams and external customers. Train and mentor quality staff to maintain high standards of performance and compliance. Oversee quality documentation for final product inspection and shipping to ensure complete traceability and compliance. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field , or equivalent industry experience. Minimum 8 years of quality leadership experience in an aerospace or defense manufacturing environment. Proven experience with AS9100, NADCAP, and other quality standards . Strong knowledge of NDT techniques and inspection best practices . Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading audits. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Proficiency with ERP and Quality Management Systems (QMS) . This position works in both an office and manufacturing floor environment .
