Lab Supervisor - Point of Care Testing

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical and regulatory oversight for the Point of Care (POC) testing program across BayCare's ambulatory settings
• Ensures high-quality patient testing through compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP...), staff training and competency, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborates with laboratory leadership, ambulatory leadership, providers, nursing, vendors and other interdisciplinary teams to support safe, accurate, and efficient POC testing services.
• Assists with special projects and other duties assigned by the Scientific Director in support of organizational priorities.

Experience:

• Required - 4 years Clinical Laboratory Related

Education:

• Required - Bachelor's in Biological Science or Clinical Science Related

Certification:

• Required - Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License.
