Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias; management of dysrhythmias; use of rapid response/code teams; blood product administration; central line care/management; peripheral line care/management; PICC line management; starting and maintaining IVs; CVA (cerebrovascular accident); seizure disorders; substance withdrawal; BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance; high flow nasal cannula (HFNC); nasal cannula; non-invasive airway management; oxygen administration; oxygen tanks; isolation precautions/PPE.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Cerner Bridge preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: Must be more than 50 miles from facility.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Ratios: Days 1:6; Nights 1:7; Weekends 1:8. Patient diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, non specific abdominal pain, cellulitis, and chest pain rule out.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Maximum consecutive days off: 10

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
