About the Role

As Restaurant General Manager, you will hold full accountability for the overall performance of our high-volume restaurant and bar, reporting to the COO. This position requires demonstrated experience managing operations with annual sales of $8 million or more. You will lead all aspects of the business while placing equal emphasis on a heavy adult beverage program and a consistent commitment to excellent guest and crew care. Success in this role depends on strong financial oversight, operational excellence, and the ability to develop and retain a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for restaurant and bar operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and financial objectives.
• Manage the P&L, budgeting, cost controls, labor efficiency, and inventory to sustain and grow sales of $8 million or greater.
• Oversee and continuously improve a heavy adult beverage program, including product selection, quality execution, profitability, and guest appeal.
• Deliver an overwhelming commitment to guest service by anticipating needs, resolving issues effectively, and ensuring consistent, memorable experiences.
• Foster a positive, stable culture through excellent crew care, coaching, development, and retention of top talent across front-of-house, bar, and support teams.
• Direct daily operations including floor management, bar service, reservations, private events, food safety, cleanliness, and seamless kitchen-bar coordination.
• Drive revenue growth through exceptional hospitality, operational consistency, and repeat business.
• Partner with the COO and broader leadership team on performance reporting, strategic initiatives, and long-term operational improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5+ years of Restaurant General Manager or equivalent senior leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant and bar environment, with a proven track record of managing annual sales of $8 million or more.
• Strong business background and financial acumen, including experience with P&L management, budgeting, cost controls, and labor planning.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing a substantial adult beverage program.
• Clear commitment to excellent guest service and crew care, with a hands-on leadership style that builds stable, high-performing teams.
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations, POS systems, inventory management, scheduling, and food-safety standards.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and team-development skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications (or ability to obtain promptly).
