We are looking for an Electro‑Mechanical Assembler to build and test precision electronics assemblies. Responsibilities The primary responsibility of an Electro‑Mechanical Assembler is to build and test precision electronics assemblies. The assembly position requires the ability to read and understand assembly documentation, the ability to perform precision soldering, and the ability to use production tooling and test equipment. Calibration of electronics assemblies using DVMs and oscilloscopes is also required. This position will also require the individual to effectively interface with R&D and M.E. to provide detailed feedback on product build and test issues, and aid in new product releases. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Build precision electro‑mechanical assemblies to print. Calibrate laser assemblies using various electronics test equipment. Work both independently and as a team member to help keep up with production schedules. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Request parts from stock utilizing appropriate methods. Use SAP as needed to perform essential job functions. Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Good eyesight. Exceptional hand dexterity for small parts assembly. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to hip height. Alert to hazards in the workplace. Maintain an orderly, clean and organized work environment. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Precision soldering skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word. Critical attention to minute details. Punctual and reliable. Mechanically inclined. Excellent communication skills, verbally and written. Ability to solve production‑related problems. Flexibility to continuous improvement activities. EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 2 to 3 years of college training preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience building high‑level electro‑mechanical assemblies. At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full‑time position is between $21/hr and $36/hr and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a series of job‑related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job‑related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
