Job Description Job Description The Role of the Welder Responsible for welding and repair in an effort to maintain equipment in safe and effective operating conditions. Essential Responsibilities Schedules, maintains, services and repairs of equipment and containers used to recycle, dispose and haul industrial commercial and residential waste, welds repairs of equipment. Rebuilds containers that require removal and replacement; paints and decals the new containers; provides systematic safety inspection of containers to established standards. Assists management in the purchase of new equipment or supplies as required. Performs all duties in a safe manner and in compliance with the established protocols. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Graduation from a trade school preferred. Two years of welding and fabrication experience. Waste and recycling industry experience preferred.
