Electrical Assistant Project Manager We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. As an Electrical Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of commercial, electrical projects throughout the Tampa Bay area. Working closely with Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will help coordinate project activities from planning through completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical construction experience who is looking to take the next step in their project management career with a well-established and growing contractor. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget. This is an onsite position based in the Tampa Bay area. Local candidates are strongly preferred. Relocation assistance is not available. Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise. Help in coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that project resources are allocated efficiently. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Ensure that electrical installations and projects comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations. Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and providing updates on project status. Track project expenses and assist in managing budgets to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints. Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Work closely with project teams to foster a collaborative environment and resolve any issues that may impact project outcomes. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial electrical field, with 3 of the 5 years of experience as a Commercial Electrical Superintendent or Foreman. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong knowledge of commercial high-voltage electrical systems and electrical construction project management principles. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Ability to occasionally travel to project sites. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in electrical work. Competitive compensation.
