Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for CCU patients.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications per policy, and respond to changes in condition.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care while maintaining patient safety.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to meet established nursing standards and promote teamwork.
- Document patient care and outcomes accurately; educate patients and families as appropriate.
- Ensure adherence to the Standards of Nursing Practice and unit protocols; participate in ongoing quality improvement.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a day-based schedule (3 days per week) in a high-acuity care setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to respond effectively in dynamic clinical situations.
- Comfortable documenting care in electronic health records and adhering to unit policies.
- Experience in or related to critical care environments is preferred.
- Must be able to meet the start date and travel assignment requirements for a 13-week contract.
