Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Location Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (10115) Shift Rotating on‑call requirement until 8 pm. New hires eligible for a $10,000 bonus. Summary Interventional Radiology Technologist operating digital equipment and performing complex neuro and interventional invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Assists the physician in diagnosis and treatment. Requires comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Works with chemotherapy agents, cements, and embolization agents. This position is 100% clinical and may require mandatory call as needed. Responsibilities Operate digital imaging equipment Position patients for neuro and interventional procedures Prepare and administer contrast media Assist the physician during diagnosis and treatment Work with chemotherapy, cements, and embolization agents Handle mandatory on‑call duties as required Qualifications Graduate from an accredited radiography program State of Connecticut radiographer license ARRT certification in radiography required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Benefits Competitive benefits program designed to ensure work/life balance.
