Comm Ops Data Engineer

Salary: $91,000 - 147,200 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree and at least 2 years of experience in data engineering or a comparable technical capacity.
• We need strong expertise in SQL and ETL tools for data transformation and warehouse operations.
• We require hands-on experience with Snowflake; Streamlit experience is a plus.
• We look for familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
• We value knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• We need strong problem-solving ability and the capability to optimize data applications.
• We require understanding of Python, R, or other scripting languages.
• Biotechnology, medical device, medtech, or life sciences experience is a plus.

• We develop and maintain SQL-based data pipelines to extract, transform, and load information from enterprise data warehouses.
• We support semantic model and view development in Snowflake to enable advanced self-service analytics aligned with current best practices.
• We collaborate with teammates to understand data needs and deliver technical solutions.
• We explore new data engineering methods and tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• We monitor data systems and implement enhancements to improve performance and efficiency.
• We coordinate with IT to ensure smooth data movement across systems while maintaining strong data availability and security standards.
• We may work in a hybrid or remote setup depending on location and business needs.
• We may travel up to 20% for business purposes.
