Job Description


Summary: the facility Hospital is requesting Locum coverage for Interventional Radiology, a service needed to maintain the facility Sam's Level II trauma status. Resignation of a provider, needing coverage as we work to recruit an IR Physician. BID DUE DATE: 09/01/26; 3p EST

8:00a - 5:00p Monday - Friday

Tier 2: $626-$650/hour Schedule/Availability Requirements: Hours-- 8-5 Monday- Friday We don't have staff on call Facility Location: the facility reet, Kearney, NE Setting: Level II Trauma Center/175 bed hospital (including Physch. hospital) Duties: Cover IR services FTE: 1.0 Required Procedures:

EMR: EPIC Support Staff: Collaborative team environment with dedicated technologist and nursing support. PA helps support barium work, lumbar punctures, paracentesis and thoracentesis. Reason for Coverage: We are losing one of our providers who did IR/DX coverage for the hospital. Dealbreakers: Must be board certified Travel Preferences: N/A Preferred Lodging: Candlewood Suites, Kearney, NE Air Travel: To and from Kearney, NE or Grand Island, NE Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where the provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission. Credentialing Information: Timeframe: ASAP, depending on candidates Requirements: Board certification/M.D. or D.O. Credentialing with other facilities? No Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No

Duties: Cover IR services FTE: 1.0 Required Procedures

• Broad-based IR practice including:
• Spine procedures (pain management injections, vertebral augmentation, etc.)
• Ports and central line placements
• Solid organ biopsies and drainages
• Oncology interventions and image-guided therapies
• Kyphoplasty
• Breast biopsies
