Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a dedicated professional with strong operating room experience and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and maintenance of sterile conditions.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changing needs during surgical procedures.
• Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures using Epic (Excellian).

Schedule

• Shifts: 5x8 hour shifts with start times at 6:45 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:45 PM.
• Weekend work as needed per department.
• Open to accommodating block scheduling requests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of strong operating room experience is required.
• BCLS certification is required.
• Must be willing to work on-call as needed by the department.
• Pursuant to department needs, clinicians may be expected to float within their scope of practice.
• Pending licenses will be accepted.
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed.
• Scrubs will be provided.
• Parking fees apply; first day parking validated, options available for day/evening shifts.
