Sales Intern

Hampton Inn & Home2 Suites Austin East by Hilton is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in hospitality, sales, marketing, and customer relations. The Sales Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the hotel's sales efforts while learning about hotel operations, revenue generation, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Department with prospecting new business opportunities.
• Support the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and presentations.
• Conduct market research and identify potential corporate, group, and leisure accounts.
• Maintain and update customer information in the hotel's CRM and sales systems.
• Assist with coordinating site tours for prospective clients.
• Help organize and attend networking events, community events, and sales calls when appropriate.
• Support social media and marketing initiatives to increase hotel visibility.
• Assist with tracking sales leads, reports, and account production.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences for group and corporate clients.
• Perform other administrative and sales-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
