Unified Womens Healthcare is the leading national platform for womens healthcare. Our affiliated practice, TotalCare for Women, is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).

Practice Highlights:

\n

\n
• Well established practice with a great team of experienced physicians
\n
• Excellent mentorship available to new graduates
\n
• Practice consists of 3 OB/GYNs 3 CNMs 2 NPs
\n
• Patient census: 20-25/day approximately 60 births per month
\n
• Full Autonomy
\n
• Call schedule 1:4 [one call a week, 5 weekends a year]- shared weekend call with 11 physicians with sister care centers- all call is triaged through CNMs/Hospitalist
\n
• Affiliated with Chesapeake Regional Medical Center
\n
• In-House lab and some surgery w/anesthesia in office
\n
• Could be licensed in both NC and VA 4 care centers (2 in VA, 2 in NC)
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
\n
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
\n
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
\n
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
\n
• \n

  CPR and NALS Certification

\n
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
\n
• \n

  One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred

\n
