Anesthesiologist

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join our distinguished team at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in general anesthesia and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care within a collaborative and innovative clinical environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative care Supervise and collaborate with Anesthesia Advanced Practice Providers (CRNA or Anesthesiologist Assistant) to ensure safe and effective anesthesia services Participate in providing 24/7 anesthesia coverage in coordination with the anesthesia care team Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and clinical workflows Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement Qualifications MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Active Georgia medical license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure) Minimum of 12 years of experience in general anesthesia (newer physicians with relevant training are encouraged to apply) Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Piedmont Healthcare Offers Competitive compensation with guaranteed base salary Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with employer match Sign-on bonus Continuing Medical Education (CME) support Physician-led governance structure Market differential pay opportunities About Piedmont Healthcare Piedmont Healthcare is the leading not-for-profit healthcare system in Georgia, committed to excellence in patient care, innovation, and physician engagement.
