Surgical Technologist - Cardiovascular Operating Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 4x10 hour (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)

We are seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist with experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing support during surgeries. The role requires flexibility to float between the CVOR and general OR as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular and general surgical procedures.
• Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments.
• Float between CVOR and general OR as required.
• Support on-call duties primarily for CVOR and secondarily for general OR.
• Complete all tasks in accordance with safety regulations and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with a variety of surgical procedures including cardiac, vascular, thoracic, transplant, and general surgery.
