Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (0630–1900)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in the preparation and execution of surgical procedures in the operating room
• Create and maintain a sterile field throughout surgical cases
• Retract and pass instruments, supplies, and medications to surgeons during procedures
• Perform a variety of technical skills including the maintenance and management of surgical supplies
• Support surgical cases involving ortho trauma, joint, neuro spine, Da Vinci XI , advanced laparoscopic, and bariatric surgeries

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• 3–5 years of acute operating room experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's or Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Scrub technician experience in a surgical setting
• Completion of an operating room training course
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
