Bridge Inspection Team Leader

STV currently has openings for a Bridge Inspection Team Leader in the Transportation group in New York, New York. Responsibilities Work as an integral part of the Bridge Practice in our Northeast bridge group. Support structural bridge design group on selected projects and lead assigned tasks as appropriate. Work with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and project delivery. Assist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group. Support plan production by handling CAD layout and markups as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Master's degree is preferred but not required Minimum of 8 years of bridge inspection experience NY and NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required with active FHWA NHI Training Certification Experience for various agencies such as DOT, MTA, TBTA, PANYNJ Ability to plan and coordinate work efforts needed to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.
