Position Summary

Provides multi-site and senior-level property-management supervision, coaching Property Managers and supporting consistent operational, financial, leasing, maintenance, resident-service, and compliance performance across assigned properties.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach assigned Property Managers and Assistant Property Managers, review workload and performance, and ensure timely completion of site-level priorities.

• Monitor occupancy, rent collection, delinquency, leasing, recertifications, work orders, inspections, resident concerns, budgets, invoices, and property conditions across assigned sites.

• Support audit, inspection, compliance, and corrective-action readiness by reviewing files, reports, site practices, documentation, and follow-up items with Compliance and Operations.

• Resolve escalated resident, vendor, staff, and operational matters using consistent customer-service, Fair Housing, safety, and documentation standards.

• Prepare portfolio and management reports, identify recurring performance issues, recommend process improvements, and provide coverage or direct site management when operationally necessary.

Additional Duties: Performs other duties, special projects, coverage assignments, and responsibilities as needed or assigned to support property, resident, client, and organizational needs.

Required Qualifications

• Four or more years of progressively responsible property-management experience, including supervisory, senior property manager, or multi-site responsibility within affordable, public, subsidized, or conventional housing.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Fair Housing, leasing, collections, budgeting, maintenance coordination, inspections, resident relations, and affordable-housing compliance requirements.

• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft 365, Yardi or comparable property-management systems, electronic resident files, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, customer-service, conflict-resolution, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Ability to travel between assigned properties and provide on-site leadership as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, public administration, housing, or a related field.

• Experience with HUD, Chicago Housing Authority (CHA), LIHTC, Housing Choice Voucher, PBV, or other affordable-housing programs.

• CAM, ARM, COS, HCCP, TCS, or comparable housing or property-management credential.

• Experience supervising multiple Property Managers or managing a multi-site housing portfolio.

• Experience supporting audits, inspections, recertifications, corrective-action plans, property transitions, and operational performance improvement.
