Customer Relations Specialist

Job Summary. A national organization in the funeral planning and cremation services industry is hiring a Customer Relations Specialist for a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity in the Fort Lauderdale and Plantation, FL area. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, resolving concerns, and helping customers make important decisions with empathy and professionalism. This is not a cold-calling sales position. You will support existing customers with questions, billing matters, service concerns, and cancellation requests while identifying solutions that improve satisfaction and retention. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional bilingual customer service to existing customers by phone in English and Spanish. Handle inbound and outbound calls related to customer concerns, billing questions, account updates, and cancellation requests. Listen carefully to customer needs, de-escalate sensitive conversations, and recommend appropriate solutions. Support customer retention by presenting available options while maintaining a positive customer experience. Accurately process cancellations when necessary in accordance with company policies and procedures. Document customer interactions thoroughly and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience. Job type: Temp-to-Hire. Schedule: Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday. Flexibility required to support multiple U.S. time zones. Employees rotate into later shifts approximately 2 to 3 days per week, typically 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Opportunity to grow with an established national organization.
