The Broadmoor, 1 Lake Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States of America Job Description Posted Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 6:00 AM | Expires Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 5:59 AM Job Title: 1858 Server Pay Rate: $22.00-$27.00 per hour inclusive of hourly pay rate + service charge* *$22-$27.00 per hour based on a $6.42 per hour base wage + service charge commission paid per shift; historically, this position averages service charge commission earnings of $15.00-$20.00 per hour. Service charges are commissions and will fluctuate based on events and time of year. This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage $15.16 per hour. As a member of the 1858 team, you will be responsible for serving guests and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute service duties in accordance with Forbes AAA inspection standards and Broadmoor Standards of Excellence Maintain knowledge of, abide by, and enforce Colorado liquor laws Set up and breakdown table and chairs Ensure tables are neatly and appropriately set Place orders and serves food/beverages including alcoholic beverages Respond to guests' needs and assists fellow staff Bus and reset tables and maintain assigned station Stack dishes on trays in an orderly and safe manner Remain available on the floor to perform additional duties upon request Clean work area at the conclusion of shift Maintain knowledge of Broadmoor history and grounds Maintain knowledge of Broadmoor restaurants and retail outlets Maintain knowledge of local points of interest and activities Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job. What we are looking for High school diploma or GED with experience working in the food and beverage industry for at least one year. Flexibly in schedule as it will change often. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others. Strong interpersonal communication skills In compliance with state liquor laws, must be at least 18 years of age.
