IT Program Director - Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures

Medtronic seeks an IT Program Director to lead technology strategy and execution across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and related transactions. The role involves managing multiple concurrent deals from due diligence through post-close integration, serving as a strategic advisor to corporate development and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead IT strategy, due diligence, and execution across multiple concurrent acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, carveouts, and divestitures
Develop and execute IT integration or separation strategies aligned to transaction objectives and value creation goals
Drive sign-to-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close stabilization activities
Guide decision-making across applications, data, ERP, manufacturing, cybersecurity, and other enterprise domains
Build and improve IT M&A execution systems including playbooks, governance models, and execution tools

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years experience with bachelor's or 8+ years with advanced degree
7+ years of managerial experience
Demonstrated leadership of technology due diligence, integration, or separation in M&A transactions
Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional teams and influence senior executives
Experience evaluating and transforming business processes and operating models for transaction objectives
