This internship provides hands-on experience across various elements of marketing operations – include event execution, marketing, and operations supporting the North America commercial team within a fast-paced life sciences and diagnostics environment. **QIAGEN – Germantown, Maryland (Head Office, 3+ months)****Your tasks include:*** Support execution of trade shows and events, including maintaining event calendars, tracking registrations, and organizing exhibitor communications* Assist with pre-event logistics such as prep sheets, shipment tracking, and event kit assembly* Manage and organize marketing data in systems such as Salesforce (SFDC) and Seismic* Track leads, support campaign setup, and maintain accurate event and campaign records* Contribute to post-event reporting by compiling survey results, summarizing insights, and supporting ROI tracking* Assist with marketing content creation, including basic social media posts and email templates* Conduct research on target audiences, industry associations, and event opportunities**What You’ll Gain*** Practical experience in marketing operations and event management* Exposure to CRM systems, marketing tools, and campaign analytics* Insight into the life sciences and diagnostics industry* Opportunity to contribute to real marketing initiatives and process improvements**Your profile:*** Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Salesforce is a plus* Strong communication and problem-solving skills*The typical pay rate for this role is $15/hour. This temporary and/or contract position is not eligible for QIAGEN’s company benefits.
