Tax Controversy Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Tax Controversy Associate in Boca Raton, FL. The candidate should have 4 to 7 years of civil tax controversy experience, preferably within a law firm setting. Duties Represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and state tax agencies. Conduct efficient legal research and analysis. Prepare and review draft legal documents related to tax controversy matters. Manage multiple projects and deadlines under attorney supervision. Interact daily with clients and manage client relationships. Collaborate effectively with large transactional practices. Requirements Ability to break down complex topics and identify practical solutions. Deliver timely and succinct work product. Work comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Strong technical abilities. Education Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of resident office location.
