EXPERIENCED MACHINE OPERATOR NEEDED Temp-to-Hire

Greater St. Louis Area (Illinois Side of the River)

We are immediately hiring Machine Operators for a growing manufacturing facility in the Greater St. Louis metro area on the Illinois side of the river. Multiple openings are available, and qualified candidates are being interviewed now.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, training, advancement opportunities, and the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Pay & Advancement

• Starting pay: $20.00 - $21.00/hour

• Opportunity for a $1.00 - $2.00/hour increase after successful training completion

• 2nd Shift Differential: +$0.75/hour

• 3rd Shift Differential: +$1.00/hour

• Eligible for permanent employment after completing approximately 600+ hours

• Additional wage growth opportunities available upon permanent hire

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment

• Keep production lines running safely and efficiently

• Perform pre-shift inspections and quality checks

• Operate case bundlers and label applicators

• Replace shrink-wrap rolls as needed

• Package finished products

• Hand stack products when necessary

• Rework damaged or discarded product

• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards

• Follow food safety, GMP, and quality procedures

• Support continuous improvement initiatives

• Assist with training and supporting teammates

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and packaging facility

• Non-air-conditioned production areas

• Warm working conditions

• Large production environment

• Standing, lifting, stacking, and repetitive movement throughout the shift

Available Shifts

1st Shift

• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

2nd Shift

• 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

• +$0.75/hour shift differential

3rd Shift

• 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

• +$1.00/hour shift differential

Scheduling Expectations

• 8-hour shifts with overtime as needed

• Mandatory overtime may be required

• Saturday work should be expected during peak production periods

• Shift flexibility required

• Overtime may be scheduled with short notice based on business demands
