Your Impact

Pearce Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Traveling HVAC Installer Technician to join our team installing, servicing, and repairing commercial HVAC units on cell phone towers. This is a fast-paced and challenging job that is best suited for individuals who are self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a travel position - 90% travel is required for up to three weeks at a time. Candidates should reside in the Fort Wayne or Indianapolis, Indiana area.

Core Responsibilities

- Installing and replacing components of entire systems of commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling units - Timely and accurate completion of daily reports - Driving to remote work sites as needed - Performing upgrades on out-of-season equipment - Conducting performance checks as required

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

- 1 or more years experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred) - 1 or more year of Construction experience will be considered in lieu of HVAC experience - Experience with wall-mounted MarvAir, Bard, and MarvAir DAC/WAC direct air-cooling units highly preferred - Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems

Physical/Work Environment

- Candidates should reside in the Fort Wayne or Indianapolis, Indiana area. - Travel to remote work sites as needed. 80% Travel Required. Three weeks of travel are required at a time. A per diem will be provided when traveling. - This is a travel position-travel will be required for up to three weeks at a time. A per diem will be provided when traveling. - Ability to operate a phone, computer, and/or tablet - Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email - Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check - Must have the ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly - Must have the ability to be on call and travel for work when needed, especially during busy summer months - May need to pass DOT physical

Compensation: $18.00-$25.00 hourly/DOE
