Service Cashier

Job Description Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is looking for a motivated individual for our Service Administrative Team. The ideal candidate for the position must have a positive attitude, work well with others, and have great customer service skills. The Service Cashier position is full time; (40 hours) per week. The work schedule is a rotating 4 - 10-hour days schedule per week. The hours are 7 am - 6 pm with an hour for lunch. This position will require working some Saturdays. Competitive Pay Discounted Rates on Parts & Labor Discounted Amount on New & Used Vehicles Positive Work Environment Strong Team Atmosphere Opportunity for Advancement Duties and Responsibilities: Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket Answer and transfer phone calls and schedule appointments accurately Answer customer emails, text messages, and chats promptly Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers Ensure every repair order is signed by the customer at time of payment Balance daily deposit for cash, checks and credit card payments at end of shift Work with department managers to keep up to date new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price Refer customers who have additional questions to the service advisor or other appropriate individual Give cash refunds accurately to customers for approved returned merchandise Electronic scanning of files daily Perform receptionist duties as requested Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor. Close repair orders and make sure we have received payment Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Basic skills with computers and other office machines (copier, credit card machine, telephone, calculator) Ability to work well with customers and present a friendly, helpful attitude always.
