Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional emergency care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced in trauma and emergency procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival to deliver timely emergency interventions.
• Perform clinical tasks including IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKG administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech EMR system.
• Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a compliant environment.
• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and family members.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license with at least 1 year of emergency room experience.
• Hold current certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS.
• Demonstrate proficiency in trauma procedures and emergency protocols.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and active communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and handle multiple patient needs.
• Flexibility to work 4 weekend shifts per month; no on-call required.
