An Automotive Technician plays a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. This position requires expertise in using manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools to accurately identify vehicle issues and independently perform repairs and maintenance tasks. The technician services a combination of vehicle types with minimal travel involved, ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer-specific tools
Conduct engine repairs and maintenance
Maintain and repair brake systems
Service and repair vehicle transmissions
Troubleshoot electrical systems and components
Engage professionally with customers regarding vehicle issues and services
Execute preventive maintenance tasks to avoid future breakdowns
Replace worn or defective parts following manufacturer guidelines
