Remote Senior iOS Engineer

Salary: $150,000 - 180,000 per year Requirements:

• We need a senior engineer with 4+ years of professional experience building or supporting a shipping native iOS app, using a mix of Swift and Objective-C, and owning substantial features or technical systems.
• Were looking for someone who can translate product needs into technical and UX choices.
• We value a collaborative approach, including the willingness to respectfully question requirements, uncover missed edge cases, and recommend simpler or more impactful solutions.
• You should have strong ownership instincts and stay engaged from planning through implementation and post-release support.
• You should have experience writing UI automation tests.
• You should be able to troubleshoot nondeterministic issues involving async behavior, networking, and simulator-versus-device differences.
• You should be comfortable using Xcode Instruments to identify and fix performance bottlenecks, UI hitches, and memory leaks.
• You should have experience investigating issues through crash reporting, logging, analytics, and CI or automated test output.
• You should be able to work effectively in human- and LLM-assisted software development workflows while keeping ownership of the results.
• You should be able to communicate ideas, opinions, and technical details clearly in written English.
• You should be able to work 9-5 Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time to support real-time collaboration.
• You must live in the United States to be eligible for this role.

• Help maintain, evolve, and improve our iOS app, which is a primary way many of our users access our core product.
• Shape the apps architecture, user interface, data layer, and networking behavior.
• Work closely with teammates who support our Android app and backend systems.
• Build on-device features including truck navigation, planning tools, route optimization, document scanning, and related functionality.
• Write automated tests for the code you develop and help strengthen our testing practices.
• Collaborate with our QA team to reproduce and resolve issues reported from the field.
• Review and interpret CI output, crash data, logs, and analytics to diagnose and fix problems.
• Pair with teammates, share knowledge, and contribute to a fun, productive, and respectful engineering environment.
• Stay involved through testing and real-world feedback after release.
