VP Oncology Services

The Vice President of Oncology Services will lead all oncology services at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke’s and associated facilities, ensuring clinical excellence, strategic growth, and superior patient experience. Job Summary The Vice President of Oncology will provide overall direction, leadership, and growth for cancer services, including Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and the Colorado Blood Care Institute. Working under general direction, they will exercise line responsibility and authority for physician management, operational and ancillary functions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align with hospital strategy. Responsibilities Lead cross‑departmental initiatives to improve clinical care processes, team engagement, patient experience, volume, and financial performance. Direct long‑ and short‑range planning and service line development for oncological services. Propose, develop, and implement new programs, services, and access points. Recommend and implement innovative growth models. Provide strategic marketing and business plan development. Assess, recruit, and apply strategies to retain targeted physicians. Develop, implement, and evaluate programs to meet volume, profitability, quality, and service standards. Analyze volumes, historical results, and forecast projections for administration. Use project management tools to plan, monitor, and report on growth activities. Identify, develop business cases, and manage capital planning projects. Collaborate with Marketing on the annual Marketing Plan and community outreach. Build productive relationships with affiliated organizations. Work with Nursing and administrative leadership to ensure clinical quality and operating performance. Qualifications Master’s Degree preferred (none required). Prefer 5–7 years of management experience in a healthcare setting. No specific licensure, certification, or registration required.
