Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer Mud Pumps



Location: Spring, TX Onsite



Duration: 12 months



Pay Rate: $60 $65/hr on W2

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong Oil & Gas experience to design and develop mud pumps and related oilfield equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of mechanical or machine-design experience.
• 5 years of direct mud-pump design and development experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo or Inventor.
• Experience with ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and pump components.
• Experience with stress analysis, tolerance stack-up and GD&T.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and hydraulic/electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with API 6A, API 7K, API 8C, ISO or API Q1 standards.
• Willingness to work onsite in Spring, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve mud pumps and related mechanical equipment.
• Perform engineering calculations, FEA and stress analysis.
• Create detailed models, drawings and design documentation.
• Conduct tolerance studies and select mechanical/hydraulic components.
• Develop and execute equipment test plans.
• Support manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting and failure analysis.
