This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.You will have the opportunity to design, develop, and execute test procedures and automated test scripts using spacecraft commands, telemetry, and electrical ground support equipment. The ideal candidate has system level test experience working with spacecraft flight hardware and good computer skills. Daily responsibilities will require I&T test preparation leading to direct contact with satellite and space flight hardware. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:EGSE, test equipment, harness, and rack design. Support EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts.Preparation/planning for short- and long-term test bed integration activitiesDevelop I&T test procedures, specifications, and test limits. Execute I&T testing, monitor tests per specification, troubleshoot, and document all test activitiesUnderstands both electrical circuits and software within the flight hardware and EGSEFully grasp escalation plan when test errors are encountered and understands when to proceed per NG/program process. Participates in anomaly resolution process and offers technical solutionsCoordinates with ITEE team leads, electrical test conductors/technicians, and I&T managers to complete and status tasking. May participate, prepare, and present material in program review boards (ERBs, TRRs, FRBs, etc.).Other duties as assignedThis position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.Basic Qualifications:Approved STEM Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional/related experience – OR – Approved STEM Master’s degree with 6 years of professional/related experience – OR – Approved STEM PhD with 4 years of professional/related experience. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
