Administrative Assistant Boutique Financial Consulting

Location: Morristown, NJ (Hybrid) Compensation: $60,000 $70,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

PrideStaff is seeking a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant for our client, a premier boutique compliance consulting and outsourcing firm located in Morristown, NJ.

Our client specialized in regulatory support for high-level private equity, venture capital, and hedge fund managers.

In this role, you will provide direct support to seven Partners across the U.S., manage the day-to-day operations of the Morristown office, and spearhead internal team events.

Your Typical Week
  • Executive Support: Manage Partner email inboxesflagging urgent messages, drafting responses, and proactively scheduling meetings.

  • Office Management: Oversee the Morristown office environment, including ordering supplies/lunches and coordinating with building management.

  • Logistics & Scheduling: Coordinate complex calendars across multiple domestic and international time zones.

  • Event Planning: Organize volunteer days, client events, and teambuilding activities, including onsite visits for traveling team members.

  • Project Tracking: Maintain "running lists" of priorities and deadlines, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks for both internal teams and clients.

  • Ad Hoc Support: Assist with IT coordination, document management, and special projects as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an administrative, executive support, or operations role.

  • Education: College degree preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote).

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in professional services, finance, or legal industries is a significant plus.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven strength in inbox management.

  • Mindset: A "ready to serve" attitude with the ability to anticipate needs before they are voiced.

  • Reliability: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and manage competing high-priority tasks with ease.

Schedule & Benefits

This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule:

  • In-Office: Tuesday Thursday

  • Remote: Monday & Friday

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $28.00 - $34.00 Per Hour
