Harmony Gardens, a Cassia community, is hiring Caregivers (CNA/ HHA/ PCA) to join our team in Maplewood, MN. As a Caregiver at Harmony Gardens , you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to enhance your skills and confidence. you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others. Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule Shifts Available: Evening 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Part-Time) Night10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Full-Time) Wage Range: $20.39 - $24.44 / hour depending on experience Shift Differential: Evenings $0.50 Nights $1.00 Location: 1438 County Road C East, Maplewood, MN 55109 Caregiver Responsibilities: Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities. Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan. Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse. Document services performed on computerized charting system. Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor. Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration. Perform additional tasks as needed. Caregiver Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred but not required. We will train you! Must be 18 years or older. Apassion for geriatric care. Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff. Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
