Physician – Primary Care \n

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours per Week \n
Day Shift | No Evenings, Weekends, or Holidays \n

\n Position Overview \n
\nSeeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Physician experienced in Primary Care to provide full-time on-site healthcare services within a correctional healthcare setting. Qualified candidates must be board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.\n
\nThis position offers a weekday-only schedule with flexible start/end times based on facility needs. No on-call responsibilities are required.\n
\nThe assignment is anticipated to last at least 6 months and may transition into a long-term or permanent opportunity for the right candidate.\n

Key Responsibilities \n
\n• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients \n
\n• Conduct medical examinations, evaluations, and clinical documentation using an electronic health record system \n
\n• Order and interpret diagnostic testing \n
\n• Manage medications and treatment plans \n
\n• Complete patient reviews and reclassifications as needed \n
\n• Refer patients for specialized care when appropriate \n
\n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams \n
\n• Participate in peer reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives \n
\n• Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and scope of practice guidelines \n
\nPatient Volume\n
\n• Approximately up to 2.5 patients per hour \n
\n
Qualifications \n
\n• Active Ohio Medical License \n
\n• Board Eligible or Board Certified in: \n
\no Internal Medicine \n
\no Family Medicine \n
\no Emergency Medicine \n
\n• Primary Care experience required \n
\n• Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR Certification \n
\n• DEA Certification required prior to assignment start \n
\n• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills \n
\n
