Role Description The Title Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Saratoga County, NY. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and organizing title documentation, including title commitments, policies, and closing packages. Day-to-day tasks include managing escrow files, assisting with disbursements, verifying accuracy of recorded documents, and updating internal systems. The Title Clerk interacts with lenders, attorneys, buyers, and sellers to obtain required information and resolve title-related issues. Additional responsibilities include scheduling closings, maintaining orderly records, and supporting the closing team with administrative and customer service tasks. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, lenders, attorneys, and internal team members. Experience with Escrow processes and basic Accounting skills to manage settlement statements, disbursements, and financial reconciliations. Current or eligible Notary commission in New York State, with ability to notarize closing and title documents. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with real estate, title, or mortgage industry practices; prior settlement or title office experience is preferred. Proficiency with office software and title/closing systems; ability to learn new platforms quickly.
