Weekend coverage required every 3rd weekend.Assignment DetailsContract includes 72 hours per pay period.RequirementsMinimum of 1 year of experience in a community hospital setting.Current state license required.Charting experience using Epic is required.Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN (Beginner & Intermediate).Key clinical skills: labor and delivery care (vaginal delivery, induction, c-section support), postpartum and newborn care, external fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation basics, IV medication/infusion administration, venipuncture, patient teaching, and medication reconciliation.ResponsibilitiesProvide care for patients in the OB, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum/Nursery settings.Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.Administer medications and manage IV therapy as needed.Support and educate patients and families throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum processes.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Utilize external fetal monitoring and interpret data effectively.Compliance / NotesCOVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions allowed. Orientation consists of 24 hours; pre-approved time off is not allowed.
