Assistant Operations Manager

New Orleans, LA | Full-time | Monday to Friday | On-site

Ready to Help Organize the Whole Team’s Day?

Perhaps you’ve trained a colleague, coordinated a shift, or stepped in when priorities changed. You’ve discovered that you enjoy helping people work together, and you’re ready to develop that ability further.

We’re looking for an Assistant Operations Manager in New Orleans to support daily business activity alongside the Operations Manager. You’ll help coordinate workloads, communicate priorities, and address routine issues before they cause unnecessary delays.

Where You’ll Take Responsibility

  • Help organize schedules, task assignments, and daily priorities.
  • Check progress with colleagues and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Coordinate requests and information between teams.
  • Support onboarding, team briefings, and training arrangements.
  • Maintain operational trackers and prepare management updates.
  • Monitor resource requirements and recommend practical improvements.

Experience Worth Bringing

Operations, hospitality, retail supervision, logistics, administration, and team coordination experience are welcome. You don’t need a previous management title or a specific degree.

We’re interested in someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and supports colleagues respectfully.
  • Keeps commitments and follows work through.
  • Can prioritize several requests without losing important details.
  • Uses practical judgment and knows when to seek approval.
  • Is comfortable with spreadsheets, calendars, and workplace systems.

Develop Alongside Management

Training will cover company processes, systems, and reporting expectations. You’ll build experience in workload planning, resource coordination, and team support, with guidance as you take on additional responsibilities.
