Performs decontamination of soiled instruments, sterilization containers and equipment according to instructions for use (IFUs) and established protocols. Corrects instrument sets according to current standards, established count sheets and/or instrument tracking systems. Maintains proper levels of inventory to ensure availability for case carts. Performs regular quality assurance program audits of peers. What minimum qualifications you’ll need Required Credential(s) One or more of the following: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
