Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy interventions according to each patient's individualized plan of care
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide patient and family education to support functional independence
- Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
- Assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA license in Georgia (or ability to obtain)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

- Occupational therapy principles and techniques
- Patient care and patient education
- Medical documentation and record-keeping
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Compliance with state and federal regulations
