OTR Flatbed Company driver (W-2) Job in Johnston, RI by HMD Trucking

HMD Trucking
Requirements - 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- 6 months of flatbed experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits

- CPM $0.70 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Vacancy description
Drive nationwide flatbed routes with HMD Trucking’s Johnston division, utilizing our 500+ truck fleet with all the latest comforts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Transport and manage flatbed freight safely
- Use sleeper cabs, APUs, and inverters on long hauls
- Maintain timely communication and accurate logs
Our Offerings:
- $0.70/mile base pay plus performance bonus of $0.10 CPM
- $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid miles on tarp/non-tarp hauls
- Familiar home time schedule and comprehensive benefits
Applicants need a Class A CDL and at least 12 months of OTR flatbed experience.
