The Master Automotive Technician is an individual contributor responsible for expertly diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles including passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, and heavy-duty trucks. This role requires precision in vehicle systems such as engines, brakes, electrical components, and transmissions, ensuring safety and quality in every service performed. Minimal customer interaction and occasional travel are expected as part of the position. This is a 1099 position and must have own tools.

The technician we are seeking will have experience in the following areas:

-Head Gasket Replacement

-Engine Replacement

-Transmission and Axle Replacement

-Diagnosis with and without Scan Tool

-Team Mentality

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle diagnostics to identify issues accurately
• Conduct engine and transmission repairs to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect and repair brake systems for safety compliance
• Troubleshoot and fix electrical system malfunctions
• Carry out safety inspections to meet regulatory standards
• Replace parts as needed using approved quality components
• Maintain quality control throughout repair and maintenance processes

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive repair
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in engine diagnostics and brake system repair
• Expertise in electrical system troubleshooting and transmission repair
• Skilled use of diagnostic tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective time management skills
