Shift: 12 Hour Nights
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Varies)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Candidate Type: Travel Only
Local Rule: No local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and critical conditions
• Administer medications and emergency treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in Cerner EMR
• Respond to trauma, medical, and urgent care situations

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• AHA BLS Certification (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• PALS Certification (Required)
• NIHSS Certification (Required)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Holiday Requirement

Traveler must work:

• 2 of the 3 Major Holidays
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day

AND

• 1 Minor Holiday
  • Day After Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • New Year's Eve

Overtime

• Daily OT after 24 hours (contract-specific multiplier applies)
• Weekly OT after 40 hours

Compliance

• Compliance due by the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date

Ideal Candidate: Experienced Emergency Department RN with strong critical care, triage, and emergency response skills, along with current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
